2014: west coast tour with my homie Letter D. Once we got to Sacramento to play a show at the @1810gallery with Shaun.
I went online and got this SP 404-SX deal off of Craigslist and after that a 3 year digital-analog journey began for me.

I was finally able to jamm with friends and create music on the go, using that delay-loop technique I learned watching that Dakim live improvisation video.

I wrote three live sets for this Roland device and played a ton of shows throughout Mexico and part of the west coast in the US, got to meet a lot of people and earned a lot of experience during those years about how to be an independent artist and the DIY world.

At shows, people told me they’ve never seen someone using the SP like I did (true statement) and maybe it was because I wrote this kind of “Micro Djing” with loops set.

These sets were 40+ minutes long collages of all the work I’ve done as Fonobisa at the time, a huge mashup of all created ideas, played from 2014 until 2017 when I had to sell all my equipment to survive.

Now that I’m ending this “Fonobisa” project, I’ve done a recap of all the audio material I have. Luckily for me, I was able to get the recordings of two out of the three sets I made during those years. The only way you could’ve listened to those sets was at the shows I played, until now ;)

I just recorded a limited run of 12 cassettes with these live sets and some additional material.
